Utility connections for Nautilus Villa are solved through a combination flexible lines from the mainland and independent systems within the villa itself. In the standard scenario, all connections – water, electricity, internet and waste – are routed through protected technical corridor inside the pedestrian bridge which connects the villa with the mainland. Alternatively, fully floating versions use underwater flexible pipes and cables with motion compensators, to enable normal functioning even with minor water level oscillations.
For greater autonomy, the villa includes the following systems:
-
💧 Water: drinking water tanks and rainwater harvesting with integrated filtration units.
-
⚡ Energy: solar panels on the roof and the possibility of adding small wind turbines; battery storage systems.
-
♻️ Wastewater: advanced biological purifier integrated into the lower zone of the villa, which enables local wastewater treatment to an environmentally acceptable level.
-
🔌 Digital connectivity: optical or wireless link to the mainland (depending on distance and conditions).
Such solutions allow the villa to remain functional even in conditions long-term stay on the water without constant dependence on external sources, which opens up possibilities for accommodation in more remote locations.
